Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa

mr.agco - 1/2/2018 06:42 I was 7 and I remember that day like it was yesterday. My boy will be 7 when he starts driving by himself. He’s gonna get lots of seat time this year for sure, he’s 2 1/2 now and everything is tractor tractor farmer farmer farmer.

I don't want to sound negative or argumentative, but you may want to be careful setting a timeframe like that when it's close to 5 yrs in the future. The little guy may be ready to go by age 6 for all we know. Or he may not be ready till he's 8 or 9. Kids are so very different in their interests and in-born abilities. Yes, you were ready at 7 and he may well be too, but he also has a set of genetics that aren't yours, so please try not to push him too hard. We raised two boys, now have 2 grandsons (and two granddaughters too) so have seen some of the differences between kids as they grow. Enjoy your boy........they're a tremendous amount of joy and fun.
