You raise a good point about someone or some group harassing others.
That is managements problem, they have to stop that sort of thing sooner rather than later because it does not help the efficiencies in a plant at all and at least here would be against the law to allow it to continue.
Daughter recently had to fire a man who she considered a good worker, always did his job, stayed late if needed and came in whenever called to cover BUT he was always carrying on about the 'towel heads' and other lingo. Had the training to stop but could not help himself it seemed and that sort of discriminatory language and actions leads others to try to stay away from him and not do their jobs properly AND it is against the law so he ended up being fired.
Expect workplace is better now with him gone even if it takes more than 1 person to replace him. | |
