SouthCentral WI | I look at this from a couple of different angles. First off is wages. When a car costs 30,000 dollars and a starter home cost 200,000 dollars, do you honestly think someone is thrilled when you offer them 12/hr.
From an employer point of view, every dime that I don't pay out is a dime in my pocket. Why would I pay more than absolutely necessary. It seems like everyone just wants more. More money, more power, more profits, more work out of the same people, more, more, more. Can't get more, no problem. Sell it off to some other corp and let them sell off the pieces, make even more money and start all over again.
Understand, I'm not bitchin. This is really Capitalism at it's finest and probably one of the better systems in the world. Take advance of everyone, make a big pile of money, then give it away and tell everyone what a great man you are. Think Carnegie, Rockefeller, Gates, Ford, Edison, and a whole lot more.
Well, that's my sermon for today. See ya.
