Correct

Illinoisboy, what are you paying for your HP subscription? I really think that SF1 or WAAS will do the tick for what I need. I have the exact implement width plugged in on my current setup(38.5' FC and 17.5' Chisel Plow). I have never seen the on track error go off more than mybe 3 inches. Granted, the track will shift some and if I have to spend all my time bumping the line over that will get sickening real quick. In that case maybe an upgrade is in order.

HP is running $1500 a year right now. XP is half that and probably would be fine too. Thinking it "may" come down next year and have heard rumblings that there may only be one offered (HP).

I ran WAAS for a while and even planted with it a couple years. It's doable, especially if your head matches your planter rows (6-12, 8-16, etc). That said, it was kind of a battle. The switch to HP was beyond great. Love it. Planting, spraying, harvesting, just find your field, use the old line and your good to go. Really nice.

Even though it's not totally necessary on tillage it's nice if you've already got it.
