KDD - 11/17/2008 20:59 Sorry, Illboy, but you're wrong for our area at least... do the math.

If overlap doesn't make any difference, then why can't I get anything done by just going over the same spot all day long?

I have done the math and we do run wide equipment. Even the cheapest auto steer set up isn't going to "pay for itself" in fuel savings. The things are damn expensive. I love them and will never do without. I'm just not going around telling people the systems pay for themselves in fuel savings alone. Someone who thinks I'm wrong "do the math" for me. $6000-$18000 (for one rig) buys a LOT of fuel. I guarantee you save fuel, lets just not get carried away.

I didn't say overlap doesn't make a difference. Of course it does. That last statement wasn't to....ah, never mind.
