Leesburg, Ohio | We have found Deere RTK running on our own base station to be very accurate out to at least 8 miles with a repeater, and at least 4 or 5 miles with no repeater. I think most would say that the accuracy drops off some beyond about 6 miles or so, repeater or not. We have not seen an accuracy degradation at 8 miles. Drift has never been an issue at all. Not worth the extra money??? We think it is. Should have gone RTK four years ago when we started out with Beacon and WAAS equipment. | |
