I cannot see rent coming down until land prices deflate. When I mean. No one in the eighties thought land prices could fall as far and as fast as they did. Will history repeat? Probably.


Not to change the subject, and this 80's business gets beat to death but.....

IMO there is far more debt free land today than there was in the 80's. Old farmers no longer sell their farms an move to town, they make more off rent than they did farming it and want to give it to their children. Land may soften some, but there are plenty of non Ag money out there to keep it from falling flat.
