South Central MN | If the grain prices don't turn around much for the positive by this fall, its going to be difficult to sustain the rent that's being paid. We currently do not rent any land, we farm what we own, but I have relation that rents out land and they say its going to come down this fall, there operators will be happy, but how many will lower the rent? From my experiences in the past, if it doesn't work with the cash flow, let the land go, all it takes is being caught with high price rent and then a crop failure on top of that and things could get tough, even with insurance. | |
