western colorado | Lol, there is of course more to the story. Have a very good relationship with a cattle broker that buys feeder cattle for feedlots east of us. I don't blow smoke about my cattle, and help him sort loads that are good. I'm honest with myself as well as my buyers. Guess I'm more of an optimist than most cattle feeders....if there is such a thing :) I have plenty of pukes that end up in sombodies freezer with a gaurentee just cause they are ugly alive doesn't mean they taste bad dead. All of my big cutting Bulls, hieferettes and sort outs that I think will do something go to Oklahoma to finish. There is nothing wrong with scraping the bottom of the barrel if you know what to do with it.
