not much growing in the winter more surviving last thing I want in the spring would be a fat calf, healthy but not fat.
On the guys that put together stock my hat is off to them, no way in heck would I do that. Have a neighbor that did that for several years go to town spend all afternoon in a barn bring home 2 or 3 calves. What a time consuming process, one could be home taking a nap. MO
Anybody here consider themselves in the stocker/backgrounder business?
