| I wish that chemical labels listed rates in litres or kg per acre. I know how big a hectare is but if I want 95% of the people I talk to to be able to "click" with what I'm saying automatically then everything has to be talked about in terms of acres. I used to have some sprayers (the older ones I started with) calibrated in Imperial gallons/acre. Then some were more easily thought of in US gallons/acre. I've got one that is easiest in litres/acre. I've switched my thinking to all US gallons/acre with chems in litres or kg/acre with the exception of 600l sprayer that applies 30l/a. Much easier to deal with a 20a tank and work in even numbers. Doing things that way makes all available sprayer apps useless for tracking though. | |
