North of London | And Canadian visitors to the US used to talk about how cheap their gas was for a 'gallon' without converting it to an Imperial gallon for comparison.
The US may not now how to spell metric units but at least the unit is the same.
And I am old enough to remember when a gallon of gas and that was an Imperial gallon or over 4.5 litres cost less than 20 cents AND the Canadian $ was worth more than the US $ at that time too.
A five gallon pail of oil contained 5 Imperial gallons or 22.75 litres, then 20 litres and now 18.?? litres | |
