I got a job to help make ends meet years ago. It wasn't ag related, but I learned so much business sense from the owner. Five years later in another poor margin period I used those lessons to expand and take the risk. I miss those simple days of working hard, nowadays it's audits, taxes, compliance issues that give me a bad day.
