western iowa,by Denison | Back in 1989-or somewhere in there lost a 1988 4450mfwd with a 265 loader-sold it for $45,000 or something like that-couldnt afford it because I was feeding yearling steers and ran out of corn-ended up buying a 4430 -no cab,quad range tractor and did a lot of farming with that tractor,then bought a 4230 no cab by the next spring to run the 8 row planter-used to bale cornstalks with the 4430-sold my 4wd pick-up replaced it with a ih-2wd pick-up,got the flatbed out of a creek and put a sheet of steel on it-bought a 50$ oats binder-couldnt afford the custom guy,kept the tub grinder and begged for grinding jobs with the 4430-that picture is my sold 4450,the boys didnt mind my junk oliver's feeding cattle,had 2-3 old olivers and kelly ryans never new which one was going to break down,built that commodity shed for $250 cause i bought new tin for the side that faced the road-my farm 1988 -Christmas card | |
