I would say Gary has right idea. I know in '80's bank would say sell livestock or some equipment or inventory and pay us some cash and we will work with you. The guys that took bankers advice where usually sold out in a year or so as they had got rid of all there money making assets. Land values are high so get a 20 yr. mort. for as much as you can and maybe only interest only payments for a couple of years. Do not sell cows--that is your income source. Old neighbor told me in about 1980 when interest rates where high and hogs low that the darkest time is just before dawn . Seen way to many guys quit just before things turned around . Surrond your self with positive people and just buy what has a quick payback--good luck---
