Subject: Re: Why no universal health care

Hastings, Florida
I have never heard of anyone going to Canada for treating by a specialist, but many come to the U.S. of A. seeking our expertise. How long did your relatives have to wait for treatment ? Many, about half, pay little or no income tax here. We, the ones who pay, are tired of giving free services to those who don't. Our society has created a class of free loaders who would likely be exempt from paying a tax for medical services, making us pay more, and we would be burdened with a lesser medical system. Our family insurance plan, which is one of the better ones, costs 896 bucks a month, paid by my wife's employer, but we still have to pay maybe 10 % of the bills. We have a problem , but our Doctors do not want the plan being put forth by our current administration.
