OK,guess that must be what we've got.I've taken some down around the yard and cut them up for the furnace but it takes 4-5 yrs. to dry it down(in a woodshed).I suppose Redman's right about the slabs but I can heat my fair sized older house for around $250-300 for an average Manitoba winter.Just find that I need to add wood a few more times per day with the slabs.
