Zabcikville, TX | Plenty of dead trees around this year due to the drought. Have seen pecan trees 5-6 feet around dead, not dormant, dead. Just wasn't sure on what kind to get. This is the only experience I've had with wood burning stove/fireplaces. I figure $80 worth of wood probably saved at least 200 in propane. (And it was cold for "here", got down to 4 degrees last year) Just didn't want to spend money and be disappointed. Thanks a lot for the info, really helped.
