Riley County Kansas
I ripped some ground last fall with an inline ripper and it heaved and boiled up all kinds of dirt. It pulled really frickin hard and that corn only made 40 bpa. My theory though is that we ripped 12" to 13" deep and didn't get any substantial moisture all through winter and into spring and the soil profile never was able to recharge. Don't know if anybody else has experienced this or if I'm just full of it?
