Chastising no one here, hoping for a fair comparison and pointing out why it is not.. I've never done a test like this on my farm, I should, but I have not, only hoping to learn something from him being that he lives close to me here in IN anyway..... Are you saying you wouldn’t consider the extra trip? Surely you are not suggesting he leave that out in his consideration are you? I've often thought twins would outperform narrow rows (i.e. 15" or even 20" for that matter) but at similar populations simply giving each plant more room to stretch its legs so to speak and putting less reliance on the metering system of the planter to space plants evenly.
