N/E Iowa | Your right Gary, There are more yellow spots in these fields than people realize. If you believe me jump in a airplane and then look it all over, neighbor takes a ride twice a year to see his crops, he mentioned there is alot of "low" wet spots that won't make 100 bpa!
I had the chance to go up in a plane to check my crops (through Pioneer) and won't be here that day, after what the neighbor tells me there will be alot of bummed out farmers in "some' areas.
I'm going to check more corn after this next rain chances go through. I pulled 5 random ears this morn, Pioneer straight R/U corn 36v51 just days from starting to dent, average 38 long (disregaurding) the 4 or 5 tip kernals, and 16 round on 4 out of 5 ears. (whats that figure out to be 190 to 210??) | |
