One formula that seems to work is that land should trade at five times the gross value of a crop of corn. Do the math, and you will see that anytime that happens, it is a good time to buy.


Always interesting to hear other's opinions on that.

It seems that Boone, here in the past, has stated that land should sell at 9 times the value of that crop.

I think I've decided that here, it's somewhere between your two numbers. But if it really does get down to 5........you'd dang sure bet you should be buying.
