And you know that because what internal part was damaged? You know that because datasheets for all internal parts say no damage for all voltages down to zero. And you know that because international design standards say no electronic damage for all voltages down to zero.

Low voltage is potentially harmful to less robust appliances - motorized appliances.

Transients that do damage are incoming to everything. Then go hunting for that one appliance that makes a best outgoing path. Incoming to everything. One (best) outgoing path means only one item is damaged. Then consumers, who only make conclusions from observation, somehow know low voltage must have done that damage. Since observation alone is always proof. (We were all taught in elementary school that a conclusion only from observation is classic junk science reasoning).
