Lol. While I, like everyone else, doesn’t want to personally experience covid 19 I believe that I do have a very high chance of survival, especially knowing my health status and a few non-advised tricks to keeping it from escalating uncontrollably. I have a niece that was involved with contact tracing and a sister that is a head nurse in a hospital so I do have a bit of an idea of how bad covid can get. Especially if it is ignored and left untreated until it becomes critical.
At this point I have a very high confidence level that we will all face this virus at some point and personally I’d prefer to achieve immunity naturally rather than through an unproven vaccine. Maybe I’ll change my mind, maybe not. You are free to choose differently though. We don’t have to agree.
First of all, I hope you never get it. Second, if you have relatives in health care, then you know how important it is to get vaccinated. I get that some are reluctant to get the vaccine, but the science shows how vaccines are our path out of this nightmare. There is a lot of noise out there to the contrary, but don't count on unproven treatments. Peer reviewed double blind trials are the gold standard to seeking the truth. |
