Respectfully there's entirely too much focus on the death rate from Covid-19. There are several people we know, some in out family that are having severe problems after catching Covid-19. They aren't dead but there's little doubt that they will have shortened lives and will suffer ill effects from contracting the virus. Nephew has heart problems, grand niece has lung problems and others that have problems have been lung related too. One healthy lady in our church at almost 50 hasn't been back to work for months. Forgetfulness/confusion, breathing, coughing, unable to sleep are just some of the problems that have happened. There are other things than dying immediately that people should be aware of and focus on. Nobody wants to die from Covid-19 but surely they don't want to be sick and disabled for years either. |
