Get an 18” long piece of 1/2” piece of pvc pipe or a small broom handle. Wrap it 4-5 times with a dish towel or 8-10 times with newspaper. Lay on floor on wrapped pipe. Roll back and forth on hurting area for several minutes. Pipe gives support as towel or paper gently conforms to area between vertebrae to relieve pressure on bulging disc. Takes a few times but irritation slowly goes away. I am not a doctor and not giving medical advice. Just telling you the home remedy that worked for me a a couple of family members. I have had sciatic nerve problems. Was taking 5 Aleve twice a day just to move. Nothing worse than crawling to bathroom. |
