I disagree with that line of thought around “here”. Wether you till or not you still have to own a big 4x4 to pull a seeder and/ or grain cart. (Yes it will last longer though). You might not have to own a chisel plow anymore but you can buy a really nice used 60’ chisel plow for $40k. On a average size dry land wheat farm you can easily spend that amount on chem follow in a single summer. The plow will last 20 years, minus sweeps.


How will multinational agribiz survive if we farmers don't send them $$$ every year?
