I've seen those pictures of the big piles of hedge posts. He was pretty proud of that. Semi load at a time.

A man I knew all too well in my early years bought the Oliver 88, his first tractor, with money he got from the posts. That is what started his farming career. One of the few men I have known in my lifetime who was actually a self made man that started with nothing and no help. I always had a lot of respect for the ornery old fart.

Who ended up with that tractor? I know he would never sell it.
