I have enjoyed your well thought out posts over the years. I hope you will keep posting as all of us will plant our last crop at some point. I look forward to hearing about how things are going in your new phase of life.
Just mentioning that we took over a farm from a guy that was retiring a couple years ago. We bought his equipment, retained his employees and took over the leases on his land. He even works for us when he’s not in Florida. Just mentioning this as there may be someone out there that could benefit from taking on the whole package. In our case, the recent retiree enjoys his life and can still drive the grain cart etc. as much as he wants.
