I remodeled a 1880 house. Lived in it while doingso. Tough to do but that is how i had to do it. When i got done, i had a good house, all new windows. If foundation good id remodel. If not start over. On a cold month my gas and electric bill would be 250 bucks. Usually heated with a vent free 35000 gas heater. It was 1700 square feet. I did everything myself.
