How much can you do yourself? We just remodeled a 1700 Sq. Ft. 100 year old house for about 1/3 of what it would have cost to build new. Did everything but electric and HVAC myself. Would we have liked new, absolutely, but for the cost difference I can deal with an old house that's new again.
