Oklahoma Panhandle | Are you thinking Chinese will starve because of ASF? They will eat something and that will require feed. See pork exports recently. I have already read that some consumers are afraid and switching to chicken fish and beef. Chicken and fish are cheaper and require less feed per lb of protein. Beef is more expensive and will require more feed per lb of protein.
Dead pigs = wasted feed =increase feed demand. | |
