I don’t think so. They aren’t wasting the pigs, heard they were shipping barns early to avoid it or if an outbreak occurred shipping those pigs fast for slaughter.

Either way, they aren’t even repopulating yet. They have a huge wild hog herd and many backyard hogs. Virtually no buosecurity. Not even trying to repopulate. Less hogs = less feed consumed.

If they get it under control the lost feed demand is gone. Then what happens when they start switching their consumption pattern to chicken because of economics. Fewer hogs more birds = less feed going forward.

There is almost no way this leads to more feed demand. Short or long term.
