| I did check with an attorney I trusted. He told me, with what is known about her current financial state, and our fine court system , read that as s-l-o-w,that I am looking at a $20,000 bill for lawyer fees by the time we get it all done. Granted I could recoup court cost but if she can't even pay what she owes now, I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to go. Of course, he wants paid half up front, half when finished. Missing $80k isn't an easy hit to my pocketbook. I know some of that was my labor, but the equipment had wear and tear and fuel used on it. | |
