Central IL | I'm in a similar situation. Custom Work for owner who keeps adding acreage. He purchased another farm this fall and asked me to chisel it. Ran the chisel for one day, came back the next day and he had jumped in my tractor a couple of hours before I arrived. (Yes, I took my key) It appears he hit part of a concrete structure by a waterway and destroyed the left side of chisel. Repair cost around 5K. Haven't turned in my custom work bill yet as I am struggling how much to charge. His custom work is a significant portion of my small operation so I don't want to lose the work but don't want to eat the entire cost of repair. | |
