Everybody thinks everybody is getting rich. I’d say NO he is not. The profits all go back in the farm(tiled it all in last 10 yeArs) . They always do. If he has lots of cash made he will buy another farm. It’s what we do. If he isn’t 70 yet you have nothing to worry about. My dad lived to 88. Was at the farm everyday. But I was too, ever since I could walk. He knows it can all be lost(he’s seen it happen). Look at 1100 acres and the imput costs, can you swing that.? Maybe he does it without crop insurance. Let’s say you have o yield next year. Never rains. Or 50 bu corn. It can happen he knows it. If you really want to farm. You,d better be there to help every minute you can,Pay your dues. Why do you rent your ground to him. Use his equip in trade for labor. He will slow down in 10-20 years and need more help. Save your money up . You,ll need it.
