| My parents were always just getting by, my mother still is without my dad being alive. I heard about the poverty for years, then someone would drive by with some piece of junk my old man wanted, or my mother would see the buy of the day on QVC........then it was the sky is the limit. Were they hurting, nope definitely not, and when something they needed broke and we had to patch it up because of the poverty, I definitely made it known mentioning the above........they weren't hurting, just were cheap unless it was something they had great interest in......... it never changed and it honestly didn't matter, but I sure enjoyed rubbing it in. | |
