Subject: RE: Why no universal health care

Mid Michigan
Dairyman is exactly right. The ones who can afford it have a policy. The ones that are too old to be able to take care of themselves usually qualify for medicare. The ones who are too poor to afford it won't be turned away at any hospital. They can't be turned away. In other words a guy with a million dollars in the bank will die in a hospital next to a guy with no money in the bank and they will both get the same treatment. I would imagine national health care would cost about the same amount of money to our nations citizens as what we have now. It would just be a shuffling around of the money in totally different ways. We have single mothers all over around here using medicade. These are not all democrats like some will cry. In fact most of them I know come from well to do families and the girls got knocked up from a boy "defenitely not a man" and the two partners in crime milk the medicade, wic, and food stamp programs to their liking. Amost every one of them! I would guestimate 9 out of 10 young couples in michigan do this. The big giveaway is to look at the birth announcements in the newspaper and see how many of the girls are married and have the same name as the babies father. 9 of 10 don't and never will. 40 or 50 years ago those numbers would have been reversed. Now we live in a society of people who won't take on responsiblity for their actions. It sickens me. So in a nutshell, we are already paying for national healthcare.
