Northern Illinois | People have said schools should reopen no matter what and if parents don't want to send their children they are paranoid. In Illinois practice for fall sports is soon to begin.
My question is how many children or staff need to get sick before a district shuts the school down? How many athletes get sick before the IHSA puts an end to all sports? If 1 child dies will that shut everything down?
Schools need to know the answer to these and many more questions before they start.
My distant is K-12 with approximately 200 high school students so you can guess how many students are in the district and how many staff members that entails.
So how many students are in "your" district and how many deaths or hospitalizations or sick/absent people would it take for you to say shut it down? | |
