It doesn’t seem to matter how I cook the breasts in a crockpot or even a pan. They still come out tough. Something changed and I don’t know exactly what that change is.

What is making the meat so tough? I’ve tried buying from more than one grocery store chain and so far all of it is alike. Is it just how they’re raised now or could it also be from what’s being injected into the meat to plump it up? It hasn’t always been like this.
