s nd | Depends on how much sweat equity you have in the place and are alright with leaving it if you go. I hear about the 100 grand my sisters husband left on the table 25 years ago when he quit the dairy farm, so it doesn't disappear after a couple years. Mom and I were at chaos til a local lawyer got involved. It helped me immensely in the purchase, but I was close to 40. Took over at 21 at dad's death. Don't let it go that long, but then again, don't throw the towel in too early. I was alone on the farm, though.
