I can see this as it seems you do many of the menial chores of barn duty to support your brother's more noticed position. Everything you do is " just chores" to them. As we go into the next few lean years, even though commodity prices are low, milk is worse, you will be their whipping boy, blamed because cost of feed is too high.
Approach your former boss about a partnership agreement, or he may have an idea of another farmer with a more favorable setting for you. It seems this man respects you. You should not be going into this time of year with this type of stress. It will not help with that "finding someone" thing you mentioned, and that is what matters. | |
