I never could get myself used to the taste. I started a smal beef herd as a youth, but my dad always bought a neighbor's fair lamb. For me, In order of taste, mammals only: beef (it's what's for dinner), elk, pork, chicken, deer, pheasant, rabbit, squirrel, a whole bunch of other critters I've never eaten, then lamb.
