I’ll put it this way, I’d feel a lot better about if the CSR was in the 70s… Is it more the soil types or grade that’s dragging it down so low?

Here, that’d be a tough swap because the stuff with ratings in the mid eighties and up holds on so much better than the lower rated ground, in drought anyways. But, you’re in Iowa, so rain generally isn’t a big issue, so that may be way less of a factor vs my area.

Tough deal. The value of being close, ability for manure, and option to chop silage pays big dividends as well.
