Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio
What is the area called in Spain where there is several thousand acr kies of greenhouses all together.
To answer your question all of what they said above. First with technology we have today I can almost make a living grain, cattle and timber framing on my own. When my cousins were vegetable farming they needed at least a dozen employees. Any one who's ever suffered from pepper back will know driving a tractor is much easier and more fun in my opinion. Even the more physical jobs I do aren't as hard on my body as picking vegetables. We eve. Raised tobacco when I was a kid. I wouldn't go back to that way of farming for anything. It's just work. Why work that hard when you can get a factory job that pays three or four times as much. I could go on and in. I guess I've lived all three career choices, tobacco/vegstables, factory work, and now grain and cattle farming. I'm happiest now.
