Subject: RE: Required Minimum ROI on Tiling

Northwest Ohio
Well later on this evening i started to think about your question more in detail. Using $4 corn, it would take 8.2 years for return on investment for average years and $1150/ac tile on my farms.

Given you soils pattern tile might not be the greatest ROI. Or if you do pattern, run 80' a little deep and all more in the wet holes.
Random tiling the wet spot will be huge for you. It will take your worse spots and probably make them some of the best (on average years).... not to mention your cukes.

Eliminating zeros is the easiest way to raise averages.
