Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80 | All hired done, with chain trencher = too many little old clay tile lines (some are 2" to 2.5" diameter hand dug style), that you can run into on these old farm fields. Trencher operator "flags" when he sees clay chucks come up, and then they go back, with backhoe, and tie those old clay tiles, into the new 5" or 6" plastic tile. I don't see how a "tile plow" would work properly, on these types of fields, without a bunch of tile holes, the next year. |
