That seems to be contradictory.
If staying away from others caused infection rates to increase then the virus must be coming over the radio waves.
Will have to read that to see how they explain that contradiction.
BTW you will find other studies that say lockdowns do reduce infections and that would be what I would expect. If people stay away from others then they should not become infected.
Problem is the health care system like Dr Tam keep telling people "stay home and we can stop this virus". The public is starting to figure out that the stay at home order isn't the answer. All it does is slow the spread.....
We will NEVER STOP the virus, already 8 different strains and the vaccine won't stop all of them. Last I have heard is it will control one strain and won't do much to the other seven strains.
Australia has been the perfect example. They go on complete lockdown and cases drop to zero but the day they open up again the counts go up. It will NOT be stopped, look at influenza virus. It has the same basic principles, it is only deadly to the people with compromised immune systems. Healthy people are able to fight it off with their own immune system. The same thing with Covid. Healthy people get over it. Some claim there is lasting effects from covid.....no one knows the lasting effects of the vaccine yet.
The worst part is the media LOVES to misguide the public and only tells the worst part of the story and not the whole story.
