SW WI
Some of us have (had for me) fought hogs for a lifetime.....we’re pretty used up.

There was a time I thought I could easily raise hogs until age 70. The wear and tear starts chipping away at you. Age on buildings will chip away also. The few days of down time between groups get a longer list of things you want to take care of before new pigs arrive. Always sorted, loaded, washed repaired between me and my wife. The last year finally hired a couple things done.

If it works for you it works. But if you look back at my posts over the last 5 years (I’m sure we’ve argued before) I will stick by what I’ve said.....the hog industry always is changing, what works now, probably won’t work 20 years from now.
