St Marys Ontario | I do not disagree with the higher numbers at present. One example I look at is Michigan with the same population as Sweden who locked down early with all safety measures. They experienced almost a 1000 more deaths.than Sweden. Also Sweden might be higher than lots of countries in Europe in deaths per million but Canada is twice as high as Germany in deaths per million which makes us look really negligent. Lots of numbers to compare which are meaningless without further evaluation. So lots of questions.
We can only hope that Sweden does not experience a surge in cases like other countries in Europe who are considering measures to control this surge. Death rates will hopefully be better than first time around with better medical treatments and the unfortunate death of the most vulnerable. | |
